I believe book reading has influenced becoming a book writer. I have stacks of books in multiple rooms of my house, the largest by my bed. I have stacks of notes for writing in multiple rooms as well, because I've learned I have to write down what I thought or heard or observed right away or I will absolutely forget. Most of my notes are in file folders and cute notebooks on or near my writing desk.
I listen to @WhatshouldIreadnext podcast when driving home at night. The conversations have opened the door to reading genre's I never picked up before and discovering authors I love.
